Helicopter Tour in Sedona with Guidance Air

There's so many things to do in Sedona, Arizona. However, one of the best things to do is a helicopter tour through the RedRocks Canyons with Guidance Air. Guidance Air is the ultimate off road experience and the only and best way to see all of Sedona. Guidance Air is located at the Mesa Airport in Sedona and at the city center.

(Check out the video above of the Helicopter Tour with Guidance Air. This tour was a custom tour provided by the owner and our pilot.)

One of the strongest female vortex' is located on your way up to Mesa Airport. This vortex is pretty awesome with a very strong energy and spiritual force. A vortex is a place where the earth energy swirls and draws everything to it’s center and everything that surrounds it like a tornado. You really can feel the swirling energy and the tree trunk also twisted in a swirl. There is small vertical hill to climb, but its easy. I was not prepared and I climbed it in sandals with no problem. Once you get to the top, the view of the Sedona and the Red Rocks are incredible. It does get crowded at this vortex, as its very accessible, so make sure you go on the weekend or early in the morning.

Guidance Air provides five tours ranging in $99 to $359 and they can last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. Lap children under the age of two are free, but there is a weight limit. They do provide military discounts at 10% so make sure you bring your military ID.

Over all, the tour was fantastic! We felt safe and the helicopter was air conditioned. The helicopter was a newer model and it was clean. After our tour, we were offered wine from a local Arizona winery. Yes, you heard correctly, theres wineries in Arizona and they are only 15 minutes away from the Mesa Airport in Cottonwood. We got to visit three wineries in Cottonwood and one in Jerome on our way back to Prescott where I was staying. I'll be writing about these wineries soon! Next time your in Sedona, make sure you take a helicopter ride and enjoy the skies! For more things on what to do in Arizona click below!
